Day 01 :
Marrakech - High Atlas Mountains - Amridel Kasbah - Roses Valley - Dades Valley
After enjoying breakfast, you’ll embark on an exciting journey from Marrakesh to Boumalne Dades. Your adventure starts as you travel east towards the High Atlas Mountains and traverse the rugged Tizi n’ Tichka Pass, which stands at 2,260 meters. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to capture panoramic photos. Upon reaching the palm groves in Skoura, you’ll visit one of Morocco’s most stunning kasbahs, the historic Kasbah Amridel, a testament to Morocco’s rich architectural history.
Then head towards Kelaat M’Gouna, known as the “Valley of Roses,” and surrender to the scent of rose cultivation and the art of making rose water in local cooperatives. Then, travel to the final destination, Boumalne Dades. Enjoy the rugged splendor of the Dades Valley, where towering rock formations create a stunning panorama. Stop by the stunning views, each a symphony of natural splendor. Spend the night in Boumalne Dades, where tales of your journey linger in the fresh mountain air.
Day 02 :
Dades Valley - Todgha Gorge - Erfoud - Merzouga Desert
After enjoying a delightful breakfast at our Riad, we will eagerly resume our journey, heading east. The highlight of our day will be a visit to Todgha Gorges, a breathtaking and awe-inspiring canyon nestled in the heart of the High Atlas Mountains. Then, we will drive through semi-desert terrain to the city of Erfoud, which is considered Morocco’s most prominent open natural fossil museum. We’ll stop at one of the fossil workshops to delve deeper into the region’s ancient history, which dates back millions of years, before finally arriving at Erg Chabbi Dunes of Merzouga desert.
Day 03 :
Explore the Merzouga Desert Area by 4x4 car
After we have breakfast, we’ll commence our journey to discover the Merzouga area. Our first stop will be the Hassilabiad Oasis. Next, we’ll traverse the historic Dakar Rally tracks to visit the nomadic community and gain insight into their way of life. We’ll then proceed to the Khamlia village to experience the unique traditional music known as Gnawa music. After the tour, you’ll have some free time to partake in one of the most renowned activities in the area – exploring the heart of the sand dunes by Quads or ATV (optional). To conclude, we’ll return to the hotel for a brief break before embarking on a camel ride to the camp, where we’ll spend a magnificent night under the peace of the starry sky.
Day 04 :
Merzouga desert - Rissani - Agdez - Anti Atlas Mountains - Ouarzazate
Make sure not to miss the chance to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the dunes, then enjoy a refreshing shower and a delightful breakfast at the camp. After that, continue your journey to Marrakesh, passing through Rissani, renowned for its historical and economic significance. Traverse through desert scenery and the magnificent Atlas Mountains before reaching the expansive Draa Valley, located around 1,200 km away. This valley is situated amidst the Anti-Atlas Mountains and is encircled by extensive palm groves. Finally, you will arrive at Ouarzazate, a city renowned for its connections to the film industry.
Day 05 :
Ouarzazate - Kasbah Tourirte - Ait Ben Haddou - High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech
After Breakfast, proceed with your journey on the ultimate day from Ouarzazate, a city renowned for its film studios, to Marrakesh Alhambra. Your expedition starts with a tour of the Kasbah of Taourirt and the movie studio, then moves on to the Ait Ben Haddou Palace, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site, and proceeds through the Ounila Valley into the High Atlas Mountains to reach the Tizi n Tichka Pass (2260 meters). Finally, you will arrive at your final destination, Marrakesh, bringing our mission to a close.
